A MUCH-loved staff member at Droitwich’s Dorset House Nursing Home has been thanked for her ‘remarkable’ efforts across 35 years after she retired last week.

Over the years, cherished staff member Jane Brearley has been Deputy Manager, Senior Carer and Health Care Assistant.

To mark Jane’s retirement and celebrate her ‘exceptional career’, the Dorset House staff and residents organised a felt celebration and afternoon tea.

She was showered with gifts including jewellery, flowers, and a Waterford Crystal vase, while the catering team crafted a special leaving cake in the shape of a Louis Vuitton handbag,

Lifestyle Coordinator Lisa Davies said: “Jane is an exemplary person, an individual that we all aspire to be like and have learnt so much from with her wealth of experience, she will be missed dearly.”
