Multiples of fun for Witton Middle School pupils on World Maths Day

Droitwich Editorial 28th Mar, 2017   0

TIMES TABLE challenges took place at Witton Middle School to celebrate World’s Maths Day.

Children challenged themselves through the speedy tables where they tried to do the different sequences as quickly as possible and through the times tables relays where classes again performed as fast as they could before passing it onto another pupil.

Each class awarded certificates to their top three pupils.

Witton’s maths leader Libby Miele said: “Multiplication facts are such an important part of many concepts in maths so it was great to see the pupils taking up the challenge with such enthusiasm.”
