POLICE have launched a murder probe after a woman died dead at a property in Worcester.
Officers were called to an address in Green Lane just after 10.40am today where the woman in her 60s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Det Insp Dave Knight said: “We have offers in the area providing reassurance to the local community but we believe this to be an isolated incident.
“A police cordon currently remains in place while our inquiries continue.”
A woman in her 40s was arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody.
