A RALLYING call has gone out for new businesses and start-ups from across Worcestershire to attend a free showcase event being held in Vines Park on Saturday, August 23.
The event has been organised by Saltfest and Simon Berry and is backed by the Standard and Coun Richard Morris.
It will be held as part of the traditional ‘Village Fete’ event taking place over the August bank holiday weekend.
Between 10am and 5pm, businesses can set out their stalls to show what they do.
Tables will be provided and the organisers have paid for the public liability insurance – people are urged to being their own gazebos if needed.
Mr Berry said: “It costs so much these days to promote businesses and get your name out there – we want to provide a platform to showcase and celebrate these local ventures and what they do.”
Coun Morris, Wychavon District Council leader and economy portfolio holder, added: “This sounds a terrific and generous offer when many businesses are struggling with costs and to publicise their new ventures.”
Businesses and start-ups should email: [email protected] to book places and find out more.
