YOUNG entrepreneurs are being invited to enter a brand new competition to win a shop in the centre of Droitwich Spa.
The winner will be awarded free rent for the shop, located in St Andrew’s Street, and one year’s free membership to the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce
They will also receive a free business mentoring session arranged by Worcestershire Business Central.
Applicants must be aged between 18 and 30, have completed a business plan, and undertaken a recognised business start up course within the last three years.
Nick Webb, Asset Manager at Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund, said: “This package is worth over £25,000 and offers a young entrepreneur their first foot on the retail ladder.
“Our ownership in Droitwich town centre extends to 43 retail units and it incorporates big name brands such as Morrisons, Argos, Boots, Wilkos and New Look.
“It is the perfect opportunity for a new business to test out the market and showcase their retail offer.”
The competition, organised by the Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund, will accept entries from Monday, July 17, to September 8 only.
