THE NEW-LOOK Droitwich Farmers’ Market will be relaunched tomorrow m in Victoria Square.
Droitwich had been left without its popular farmers’ market after the chairman of the organisation which ran the events retired before Christmas.
A committee for the Droitwich and Webbs’ farmers’ markets was set up in January and discussions were set up with the town council to bring the popular event back.
The next Farmers’ Markets will be held on April 6, May 4, June 1, July 6 and August 7.
At the Town Meeting on Monday the clerk also said it was hoped that the equally popular Charter Markets would be returning to Droitwich on Fridays in the future.
Work is ongoing by the town council to bring them back.
