A BRAND new Post Office will open in Droitwich on Thursday, March 22.
The new counter at Jaydev Store, Robeson Close, will be open seven days a week, offering a modern open plan branch.
Customers will offer a variety of services, from posting letters and parcels to collecting and returning online shopping items.
Residents will also be able to withdraw cash, pay bills and get foreign currency from there.
It will be open from 7am to 8.30pm Monday to Saturday and between 8am to 1pm on a Sunday, 86 hours in total.
Karen Coles, Post Office Network Operations Manager, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best.
“We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new Post Office alongside the branch in Droitwich and Witton will ensure that people in the Robeson Close area of Droitwich have easy access to our services.”
Post Office services will be offered from a low-screened, open-plan Post Office counter that is integrated into the retail counter, enabling customers to carry out a wide range of Post Office transactions alongside retail purchases.
