DROITWICH residents wanting to lose weight in time for the summer have been invited to join a new Slimming World group which launches tomorrow.
Anyone wanting to attend the meetings can go along to the Methodist Church Hall, on Worcester Road, on Saturday mornings at 9.30am.
Running the group will be Peggy Sowerby who has used the renowned Slimming World plan herself and managed to drop four and a half stone in 14 months, going from a size 20 to a 12.
Peggy has run a number of successful groups in the area and in the last eight years has helped hundreds of people lose weight.
In the last year her slimmers lost a combined 8,500 pounds which is around 600 stone – the equivalent of an African Elephant.
Peggy said: “Slimming World completely changed my life.
