THE NEXT Droitwich Repair Cafe takes place tomorrow.
Bromsgrove and Droitwich Makerspace returns to the town’s library in Victoria Square between 10am and 3pm.
It enables people to get household items and electrical goods repaired for free.
Makerspace experts will do its best to repair items and all that is asked in return is a small donation to cover the cost of hiring the room and to be put towards funding future events.
Volunteers are always being sought to join BDMakerspace which has undertaken more than 100 repairs since its launch, including radios, clocks, watches, lamps, garden tools, jewellery and even pairs of trousers.
BD Makerspace encourages people to reuse, recycle and repurpose and also offers technical advice, battery changing and friendly chats.
Volunteers try and involve people in their repairs if they want to so they can learn new skills along the way.
Anyone who can help it financially can donate here – https://gofundme.com/bdmakerspace
