A NIGHT of stand-up comedy takes place at The Old Cock Inn in Droitwich tomorrow night (Wednesday).
The event, which starts at 8pm will feature Max Ponsonby as the MC and a host of talented local comedians, including Matt Trimble, Carl Paskin, Tristan Harris, Darren Hoskins, Steve Carley, John Broad and Chris Broad.
People who go to see the show are urged to pay what they want with all proceeds going towards funding this summer’s inaugural Rik Mayall Comedy Festival.
The Comedy Festival aims to honour one of Droitwich’s most notable residents, Rik Mayall, and is scheduled for June 2025.
It will mark ten years since the comedian’s passing, celebrating his legacy and contributions to the world of comedy, while also nurturing local talent and community involvement.
