VANDALS struck at an Ombersley Church last Saturday.
The incident happened at St Andrew’s Church, Main Street, when the attackers pulled a lightning conductor away from the church building before fleeing the scene.
It is thought they were trying to steal lead but on this occasion they were forced to leave empty-handed.
