OMBERSLEY Endowed First School and Pre-School has won a gold award from the Woodland Trust.
The accolade is to mark all their hard work in the forest over the last two terms and for the staff and pupils’ involvement in green activities.

The Green Tree Schools scheme, which has seen more than 12,000 schools sign up since it was launched in 2008, offers the opportunity to bring the great outdoors, wildlife and green issues into the classroom.
The plaque which has been awarded has taken pride of place in the school.
