PUPILS from Ombersley Endowed First School and Nursery were paid a visit by a very special guest ahead of today’s Children In Need TV marathon.

Pudsey Bear went along to the school to help with its big day of fund-raising for the cause.

Headteacher Caroline Moore said: “We raise money for Children in Need every year so we’re delighted that Pudsey came to see us.

“Each class has been busy saving pennies to donate to Pudsey, in addition to the fund-raising activities that we will be doing on the day.

“These include fancy dress and a cake sale.”

Last year, the school raised £416 and it has high hopes to beat that figure this year
