THE CAPTAIN of Ombersley Golf Club’s ladies team has raised more than £900 for the Muscular Dystrophy charity by undertaking a number of events.
The latest one to be completed by Freda Riley (pictured) was a 14-mile sponsored walk along the canals.
The cause is particularly close to her heart as the condition is one which has affected several members of her family.
