'One day left for young people to apply for their school travel passes for September' - Worcestershire County Council

YOUNG people who need travel assistance for the forthcoming academic year need to ensure their applications are in by tomorrow to ensure they get them in time for September.

Worcestershire County Council is urging parents to apply for the under 16 passes regardless of the current situation as they will be needed at some point, if not at the start of September.

A service spokesperson said: “Any application received after July 31 will be classed as a late application and we cannot guarantee transport will be arranged in time for the start of the autumn term.”

Refunds for the spring and summer term contributions should now have been processed for those who did not use their passes from April to July.

Pass holders should check their bank account or credit card the payment was originally made from to ensure it has gone in.
