PARALYMPIC swimmer Rebecca Redfern has returned home to resume her studies at Droitwich Spa High School after a her amazing success in Rio.
The 16-year-old who won silver in the 100 metres breaststroke SB13 race at the games, was given an an overwhelming amount of support after smashing her personal best and contributing to Team GB’s record breaking medal tally.
“I had such an amazing time in Rio but it’s so lovely to be back and to see all of my friends,” said Rebecca.
“I was so chuffed and blown away to win silver at my first games and it’s given me that extra drive to go and win gold next time.”
