Partial closure at Droitwich SEN school amid snowfall

Ryan Smith 6th Jan, 2026   0

A SPECIAL Educational Needs (SEN) school in Droitwich has been partially closed today due to frozen pipes.

Gloverspiece School has closed one of its two sites today (Tuesday, January 6), due to the frozen pipes and a lack of water supply.

This has meant it has had to close its Gloverspiece site, although its Dilmore site remains open to students.

This comes as much of Worcestershire experienced snowfall overnight.

Gloverspiece School is a small independent SEN on a care farm.

It was set up in September 2017 to support pupils who were struggling in mainstream schools and needed a different type of education.
