PAST and present students of Droitwich Spa High School are being urged to take part in an event next year to mark 35 years of music at the school.
The one off 35th anniversary concert will take place on April 30, 2016 – three and a half decades since Kevin Dowson, Head of Music, came to the school.
Although the event is five months away, Mr Dowson wants ex-pupils to come forward early so there is plenty of time to prepare for the big night.
Mr Dowson said: “I’d love to hear from any who has had an association with the school’s music department since 1981.
“Whether you sang in a choir, were part of bands and ensembles or performed in the high school’s Pop Icons competitions, I’d love to hear from you.
“Do please get in touch with me at the school so that we try and put together a really memorable show.”
The plan is to put what would be an abundance of talent all on the one stage to celebrate and showcase the school’s successful music heritage.
