A PAWS for Tea bake sale to raise funds for the Blue Cross will be held at the charity’s shop in St Andrew’s Street, Droitwich, tomorrow (Saturday).
The team from the store will be dressed as Second World War land girls for the event which will be held from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors to the shop will be able to pick up some delicious treats and all the money raised will go towards the care of sick and homeless pets cared for by Blue Cross animal hospitals and rehoming centres across the country.
Nicky Carr, the manager of Droitwich’s Blue Cross shop, said: “Paws for Tea is a great fund-raising event and it’s a perfect excuse for a catch up over a cup of tea and a slice of cake. We hope lots of people will come along and join us to help the Blue Cross improve the lives of thousands of pets, as it does each year. It’s events like this that make it possible.”
