A PENSIONER died after a collision in Fernhill Heath over the weekend.
The incident happened at around 5.55pm on Sunday (November 30) on Droitwich Road, close to The Bull Inn, and involved a pedestrian and a Mercedes A Class.
The pedestrian, a 78-year-old woman, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 33-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision or have dashcam footage which shows it.
