People with circus skills sought by St Richard's Hospice

Tristan Harris 10th Apr, 2017   0

PEOPLE who have circus skills are being sought by St Richard’s Hospice Family Support Team so they can share their expertise with the children the charity helps.

The organisation would like to include circus skills such as juggling, plate spinning or stilt walking in a session for the Waterbugs group which supports children who have a loved one living with a life limiting illness.

Rebecka Klingstedt, St Richard’s social worker, said: “Learning circus skills would allow the children a break from what is going on in their lives and also help develop communication between the children and their parent/carer.

“Running once a month, the group is open to children of any age for as long as they need to attend.”

Anyone who could help the hospice by sharing their circus skills in one of the group meetings on a Monday evening should email Rebecka at [email protected] or call 01905 763963Ext 2101.
