THOSE wanting to enjoy one last taste of summer fun before the autumn and winter months can head to a community picnic in the park on Sunday, September 10.
The four-hour event will get under way at 1pm at the Lido Park Bandstand.
People will be able to take a picnic and listen to a brass band throughout the afternoon and there will be face-painting, a magician, a circus skills workshop, stilt walkers, a bubbleologist, line dancing, along with an arts and crafts workshop with the heritage centre.
The emergency services and Droitwich Spa and Rural Council for Voluntary Service will give people a chance to learn more about the work they do in the region.
The event has been organised by Droitwich Spa Town Council and supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.
