THESE stunning pictures of a Great Spotted Woodpecker feeding its young were taken by Jo Till in Stoke Prior.
Picture by Jo Till. sJo said: “We heard them a few weeks ago and went to investigate.
“We could see a few attempts on the tree where they eventually made their nest.
Jo has got more into photography over the past few years, especially on holiday and has taken loads on her daily walks.
“People told me they found the pictures very uplifting in the current situation and one person asked me to put together a display once the lockdown is eased.”
In the next week or so the fledglings will leave the nest to make their own way in the world.
Jo urged people, if they did see the woodpeckers, to please keep their distance and ‘let nature be nature’.
