TEAMS are being sought for a Charity Golf Day at Ombersley Golf Club on June 9.
The event, organised by the Independent Fundraisers of Worcester, is an 18 hole AM-AM competition open to teams of four.
There will be prizes awarded to the winning team, best individual, nearest the pin, longest drive and longest putt. A Yellow Ball Competition will also be included in the event.
The £40 fee per person includes the 18 holes of golf and a two-course carvery meal prior to presentation of prizes.
A comprehensive raffle will also take place on the day with a wide range of prizes. Ombersley Golf Club members receive a substantial discount.
All proceeds will be donated to Worcester-based West Mercia Search and Rescue, a group of volunteers who are the first point of contact by the emergency services for flood and land rescue.
WMSAR have to raise their own funding to keep operational and to cover their extensive training costs.
