RESIDENTS who had real Christmas trees and want a green way to get rid of them with the end of the festive season can take them to designated recycling points.
Webbs garden centre in Wychbold will take them for free until Sunday (January 10).
Last year, more than 500 were recycled there and bosses there are hoping this year will be just as popular.
The trees are made into chippings and are then composted for a year and used around the grounds and gardens as mulch.
Webbs chairman Ed Webb said the centre made disposing of trees as hassle-free as possible for local people.
Visit www.webbs.co.uk for opening times.
Residents can also take their trees to the Worcestershire County Councils household recycling plants – the nearest on is at Hanbury Wharf, Droitwich.
