FAMILIES are being urged to ‘hop into spring’ with a host of Easter-themed activities at Droitwich Library.

There is a variety of cracking things to do from now until April 16, including Easter egg hunts, storytelling sessions, creative workshops and crafts, such as making bonnets, baskets and cards.

The Dinosaur that pooped Easter – a new and exciting Easter story and the chance for children to create their very own dino is suitable for those aged four and over. It takes place at 2.30pm on Tuesday, April 4.

The Hungry Caterpillar – During a classic story and craft session, children can create a caterpillar and a beautiful butterfly. This craft, suitable for ages four and over, involves paint and takes place at Droitwich Library at 2.30pm on Friday, April 14.

LEGO Jungle Animals – Children aged five and over can test their building skills at 12pm next Saturday, April 15, at Droitwich Library by creating jungle animals.

Hannah Perrott, Assistant Director for Communities said: “Spring into the world of fun and learning with our library’s Easter-themed activities.

“Our library staff have curated an exciting line-up of events that will both educate and entertain the entire family.

“So come on down to your local library and immerse yourself in a world of creativity, inspiration and learning.”

People are being reminded there is something for everyone all-year-round at their local library, including meeting new people and making friends, along with many children’s groups including Bounce and Rhyme and Storytime for babies and little ones, LEGO Clubs and Code Clubs – all for children aged five years old and over.
