THERE will be plenty of mum-themed fun craft activities at Droitwich’s Messy Church tomorrow (Saturday) ahead of next weekend’s Mothering Sunday.
The event, at St Andrews Church from 10am to midday, will see paper flowers, cards, Super Mum fridge magnets and rosettes created, cupcakes decorated and lots more crafts.
There will be songs a short talk and a free lunch of sandwiches and cake.
Messy Church is free and open to all children of all ages, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
Rev Bev Jameson, Team Vicar Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said “The crafts are just brilliant and I’m sure dads, grandparents and carers as well as mums will have great fun making and receiving them.”
As always with the Messy Church events, the Parish Centre Cafe will be closed all day.
