THERE will be free fun festive activities at the two-day Droitwich Christmas Market which opens at 11am today (Saturday, December 14)
Visitors to the free-to-attend event at Droitwich Rugby Club can browse more than 25 stalls from local traders on both days, where unique Christmas gifts – from festive fudge to personalised decorations – will be on offer. A tombola will raise funds for Droitwich RFC.
Today (Saturday) there will be the Santa on Sax Christmas music from 12pm to 2pm, a Meet and Greet with Grinchy and Elsa from 2pm to 3pm and the chance to see Father Christmas in his grotto between 4pm and 7pm.
Tomorrow (Sunday, December 15), Father Christmas will be in his grotto between 10am and 4pm and there will be a Meet and Greet with Elsa and Elf on a Shelf from 2pm to 2.30pm.
On both days there will be face-painting all day and Kids’ Kitchen Workshops between 12pm and 2pm.
The free gifts from Santa have been sponsored by Worcestershire Vale and Spa.
