THERE will be more fun for all the family at the latest Droitwich Messy Church.
It takes place between 10am and midday on Saturday, June 17 at St Andrews Church.
Participants will be looking at the parable of the seed and the sower and be planting sunflower seeds in pots before taking them home to care for them.
Because the sunflowers will take time to grow, there will also be the chance to make sunflower windmills, cupcake gardens, flower fridge magnets and lots more crafts.
There will be songs a short talk and a free lunch of sandwiches and cake. Messy Church is free and open to all children of all ages accompanied by an adult.
Rev Bev Jameson, Team Vicar Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said: “There is so much to make and do.
“The cupcake gardens look and taste delicious. I hope people come along to join in the fun.”
The Parish Centre will be closed to the public that day.
