A PERSON was beaten up in Ombersley on Saturday.
The incident happened around 2.30pm when a man entered a property on Appletree Walk and assaulted the person before leaving the area.
The attacker was white, of stocky build, in his early 30s and had short dark hair and stubble.
He was wearing a dark long-sleeved top, dark blue jeans, black boots and was wearing black gloves.
Det Sgt Matthew Robinson said: “We understand an incident of this nature will bring concern to the local community and following initial enquiries we believe this to be an isolated incident with no wider risk to members of the public.”
Police have stepped up uniformed patrols in the area whilst the investigation continues.
