Police appeal after cyclist comes off his bike in Wichenford

A MAN was taken to hospital after a falling off his bike in Poplar Road, Wichenford.

The 62-year-old sustained bruising and bleeding to his legs and, after being checked by paramedics, was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further tests and scans.

Following the incident on May 22, police want to speak to the driver of a grey van, which is thought to be a class 2 or 7.5tonn vehicle with ‘Excel Logistics’ on the side.

The driver was a white man, aged between 40 and 50 years old, bald and with a beard.




A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “We believe this driver may have seen what happened, may have information regarding the incident or even dash cam footage which could help our investigation.”

Witnesses or anyone with information should call PC Venn from Bromsgrove Police Station on 101.
