POLICE are hunting a man who assaulted a woman in Droitwich while she was walking her dogs.

It happened about 6.50pm on November 24 when the 71-year-old was with her three pets in Tagwell Road after exercising them in the park.

During her walk, a border collie approached her dogs and was causing a nuisance.

The collie’s owner then approached her and pushed her hard in the chest, which caused her to fall backwards.

He was white, around 60 years old and 5ft 10ins tall. He was slim but well-built and, at the time of the attack, he was wearing a dark hat and dark clothing. His dog was a black and tan collie with brindle and white markings.

Anyone who recognises the man from the description or witnessed the incident is urged to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Alternatively, visit www.crimestoppers-uk.org and convey the information there.

Luckily, the woman only suffered minor injuries after the incident.
