POLICE are hunting two teenagers who carried out acts of criminal damage on the King George Playing Fields in Droitwich.

The youths struck between 9am and midday last Thursday (March 9) while a man was carrying out maintenance work in the area.

They were messing around with plants and ripping posts out of the hedgerow near Briar Mill before throwing them in the canal.

The pair verbally abused the man and then when he drove away, an item was thrown at his car causing damage to the vehicle.

The one teenager was around 6ft tall and aged between 15 and 16. He had dark short hair and was of skinny build, had an earring in his ear and was wearing a blue top, dark tracksuit trousers and bright red trainers.

The second was 5ft 10ins tall, also around 15 to 16 years old and had curly short blond hair. He was of a medium to heavy build and was wearing a grey t-shirt, jeans and trainers.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
