A WARNING has gone out to Worcestershire residents withdrawing cash from transaction machines after two thefts at cashpoints – in Droitwich and Evesham.

Around 11am on Saturday, a woman was withdrawing cash from outside the Morrisons supermarket in Springfield Drive, Evesham, when a man leaned over her shoulder and pressed a number of keys on the pad before stealing the £250 she was withdrawing.

He was around 5ft 5ins tall and was wearing black clothing.

Officers are also investigating a cashpoint theft in Droitwich after a woman was targeted by a thief who stole £500.

The incident happened outside Lloyds Bank where the woman was taking money out of the machine.

She had parked her car in the library car park and it is believed the raider followed her from there to the bank.

He was around 5ft 3ins tall, in his late 20s, and wearing a grey scarf and a beanie hat with logo.
