MOTORISTS are being urged to be on their guard after a series of catalytic converter thefts in the town.
The latest one happened in Rose Avenue but there have been several others from vehicles in a number of streets.
Droitwich Safer Neighbourhood team are investigating but have warned car and van owners to be vigilant.
Catalytic converters are stolen because they contain precious metals which are valuable. Spikes often occur when there is a rise in the price of metals.
The crime leaves drivers with a hefty bill to have the devices replaced.
