A POP-UP shop selling Christmas Cards for charities has opened in Droitwich Heritage Centre, St Richards House, Victoria Square.
The Cards for Good Causes and other Christmas items support a range of local and national charities.
The shop is staffed by local volunteers and is one of 300 temporary Cards for Good Causes stores nationwide.
Among the charities helped are Cancer Research UK, Barnardo’s, NSPCC, the Alzheimer’s Society and the RNLI. Local ones include the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
Shoppers can choose from hundreds of different Christmas card designs, traditional advent calendars, candles, wrapping paper, gift tags, napkins and stocking fillers.
Chris Smith, who runs the shop, said as well as generating funds to make a real difference to the charities, buying and sending the cards also raised awareness of the causes.
“Come along and find us in The Heritage Centre by looking out for our distinctive triangular red Santa sign.”
The shop is open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and between 10am and 1.30pm on Saturdays.
