Popular Droitwich Christmas Market set for big return

Droitwich Editorial 9th Dec, 2021   0

SEASONAL sounds and festive food and drink aromas will fill the air at Droitwich Rugby Club from next Friday to Sunday, December 17, 18 and 19, when the popular Christmas Market returns.

More than 25 town businesses and three charities will have stalls selling everything from scented soaps to festive fudge, mulled wine and more.

Admission is free to the event which also boasts food vendors, a bar and live entertainment from the I-Sing Choir and Salvation Army.

Children can make Christmas decorations and accessories during workshops and there will also be traditional rides and attractions, including bumper cars, mini Miami, trampolines, tea cups and hook-a-duck.

No festive extravaganza would be complete without Father Christmas who will also be in attendance and a shuttle bus will be on hand to ferry residents and visitors from Droitwich town centre to the rugby club.

The Christmas Market is supported by the club, Worcestershires Vale and Spa, Wychavon District Council, Production Support Services, Johnsons Coaches and Droitwich Spa Marina.
