Power tools worth more £3,000 taken from van in Droitwich

POWER tools worth more than £3,000 have been taken from a van which police believe was left unlocked.

The Ford Transit was parked on Hunters Place, Droitwich, while the thieves entered through the side door between 9pm on November 18 and 8am November 19.

Among the items taken were a £250 Stihl leaf blower, a £400 Stihl hedge trimmer, a £200 Tanaka hedge trimmer, a £600 Stihl chainsaw, an £800 Stihl chopsaw, a £400 De Welt oxy acetylene lamp and a Makita cordless drill worth £100.
