ST PETER’S Droitwich C of E Academy are filling and selling jars this year for Children in Need, writes Demi Andrews.
Students have been busy filling jars with their favourite things, such as hair clips, confectionery, arts and crafts materials and small toys, in a bid to raise cash.
The school was visited by Pudsey Bear last week which encouraged all to get involved in the Children in Need appeal.
Year one teacher Miss Hobbins said: “We told Pudsey our plans to raise money by ‘dressing down’ as well as selling the filled jars on Friday.
“The children have been very generous with the jar donations and we are hoping for a sell-out sale.”
