PULLEY Lane in Droitwich will be closed for two days this Thursday and Friday, October 13 and 14, while a new speed limit is implemented by highways engineers.
The new decision made by Worcestershire County Council is aimed at reducing the number of incidents on the road and at making it safer for drivers.
The stretch of road, which leads to the recently built houses on Yew Tree Hill, is currently 60mph but will be reduced by 20mph.
While the road is closed, the council will improve the road surface and additional signing and lining.
