PUPILS at Droitwich’s Dodderhill School dressed up to celebrate World Book Day and there were prizes for those with the most creative outfits.
After being selected by the junior school staff, each of the winners received a poetry book in a special assembly.
The school also held a book fair provided by Scholastic and all pupils were given a token for £1 to spend on books over the next few weeks.
For all books sold, the school received a percentage of the sales back as free books to complement the library and classroom bookshelves.
