Puppet shows, circus skills and much more fun on their way to Droitwich this summer

Droitwich Editorial 2nd Aug, 2018

FAMILIES CAN enjoy free entertainment this summer holiday at Droitwich Lido Park with puppet shows, street marionettes and balloon modelling, writes Mia Townsend.

Each day will include a 30-minute show by the bandstand at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

They take place on Wednesday, August 8, and 28.

Sessions will be held at Evesham’s Abbey Park on August 14 and Pershore’s Abbey Park on August 21.

Further entertainment will include juggling, plate-spinning and low tightropes, giving children the opportunity to learn fun new skills at the Community Circus Skills Workshops.

Emma Stokes, Portfolio Holder for Environment and Street Scene at Wychavon District Council, said: “We have a full programme of fun-filled activities for children and families to take advantage of over the summer holidays.”
