Rallying call to residents to get to Droitwich Town Meeting

Droitwich Editorial 26th Mar, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

A RALLYING call has gone out to residents and representatives of Droitwich organisations to attend the Spa’s annual Town Meeting.

It takes place at 7pm on Monday (March 30) at the Droitwich Spa Community Hall, Heritage Way.

The event, which will be chaired by Droitwich Mayor, Coun Bob Brookes, takes place every year and gives residents the chance to meet town council members and learn about the authority’s activities and future plans.

It also gives people the opportunity to have their say on any issues affecting them and bring them to the attention of town councillors.

As well as representatives from Droitwich Town, Wychavon District and Worcestershire County Councils, there will also be police officers and members of voluntary organisations.

Everyone is welcome and it is hoped as many residents as possible will go along to enable full and informed debate.
