THERE will be helicopter rides at next year’s Salt Fest so visitors can view Droitwich Spa in all its glory from above.
The news was revealed by Simon Berry from the Gardeners’ Arms and one of the organisers of the event which will take place on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
The tickets, which enable participants to go 267metres above the ground for a birds eye view of the town, will be £70 each.
The flights are being put on by a professional helicopter flight company which Salt Fest has teamed up with.
Simon said: “People will be able to see all of the town’s main places, such as the Chateau Impney, the town centre and its historic buildings and the canals.”
And with tickets already on sale, Simon added the flights would make ideal unique Christmas presents for treating a family member or friend to something a little special.
