RUNNERS are being encouraged to snap up the remaining places in the Droitwich Half Marathon, writes Thomas Giles.
Entrants to the 13.1-mile event on April 14 will set off from Westacre School at 11am, with the finish at Droitwich High School’s athletics track. All runners will receive a medal, T-shirt and goodie bag.
The organisers of the run, Droitwich Athletics Club, is also providing competitors with free parking at the Leisure Centre, where there will also be toilets, changing rooms and refreshments.

The deadline for registration is April 11 with the entry fee set at £22 (£20 running club affiliated).
