IN A BID to raise funds and to gain more members, the Saltway Quilters will be hosting the Doughty’s Roadshow at Ombersley Memorial Hall on November 5.
Funds raised will help help the group get speakers to attend evening sessions and go towards a day out to a quilt museum in 2023.
Doughty’s will be selling sewing-related equipment, waddings and materials to any crafty-minded person on the day.
Since Covid, the group’s numbers have dwindled, and they are keen to make a comeback.
The group meets every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at the Droitwich Community Centre from 7:30pm.
It is £1 entry, and refreshments will be available on the day.
