AN INSURANCE company is on the look out for the West Midlands’ most unadventurous student or town’s biggest bore so they can give them a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity, writes Amber Rehorn.
Endsleigh Insurance Service will be sponsoring one student or young person to venture out of their comfort zone and experience life to its fullest with a bucket list worth £4,000.
This comes to light after they discovered modern students now are more reserved than ever before, due to them being increasingly health conscious and their ‘eye watering’ educational fees meant they felt ‘obliged’ to choose the library over the club.
According to their research, today’s students drink less than their parents, with 35 per cent limiting themselves to just one night out a week – but nearly half claiming their parents head out more than once or twice a week.
Julia Alpan, head of marketing at Endsleigh said: “There are many clichés when it comes to the behaviour of young people, but this research shows that stereotypical image of the debauched, boozy youngster could be a thing of the past.
“While getting good grades, saving money and staying fit and healthy are all important, it’s also important to remember that you’re only young once and you should be making the most of it!”
“We’re expecting a lot of entries for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it would be amazing if a person from Bromsgrove or Droitwich scooped the prize.”
To help achieve this the Insurance provider is giving one lucky student a chance to complete the ultimate bucket list – activities include skydiving, rock climbing, surfing as well as attending a music festival and experience cooking in a professional kitchen.
Visit www.endsleigh.co.uk/personal/gadget/win-the-ultimate-bucket-list/ before October 31 to enter the free prize draw and have a chance of winning the competition. Ten iPads will also be up for grabs for runners up. T&Cs apply.
