WEST Midlands Ambulance Service has moved to reassure residents in Droitwich about two air ambulances and other vehicles being sent to the town’s Copcut estate.
The service was called around 10.35am yesterday and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, along with the Midlands Air Ambulances from Strensham and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
Ambulance staff provided advanced medical treatment to a male patient at a private address before taking him by ambulance to Worcester Royal Hospital for further treatment.
The Standard was contacted by concerned residents and there was a lot of speculation on social media about the incident.
