SHELL Ford near Droitwich had to be closed off earlier after a person needed rescuing when their car became stuck.
Rising water levels made the area difficult to negotiate so Worcestershire Highways shut off the ford, near Himbleton.
Worcestershire Highways said: “We’re closing Shell Ford near Droitwich due to vehicles becoming trapped by attempting to cross when in flood – please do not drive into any Worcestershire ford crossings when watercourses are in flood.”
