A SKIP hire business has given the free use of a skip to Hallow-based Wildgoose Rural Training to help the charity prepare for its exciting open day on June 12.

Site Solutions (FM) Ltd, located in Malvern, extended its skip hire services to the domestic market in the spring.

The waste management business has been servicing the construction sector nationwide since 2001 and is now launching an online ordering service to homes and businesses.

It wanted to benefit a local charity so contacted The Droitwich Lions to find out which cause would benefit from the donation.

Wildgoose Rural Training, based in Hallow, is a care farm for young adults, offering the students the chance to learn a wide variety of skills including, horticulture, farming, gardening, cooking and animal care.

The centre will be opening more widely to the public next month with the grand opening of a newly built café.

The Lions have worked with the centre for some time now and introduced Site Solutions to Jim, Director of the centre, to arrange.

Jim Hidderly – Director of Wildgoose Rural Training – said: “Site Solutions Ltd approached us at just the right time, we have all been busy getting ready for our open day next month where our brand new café will be opening among a day of live music and fun for the family.

“We are grateful for the kind offer of skip hire and have utilised the service by getting our grounds ready for the big day.”

He thanked the Site Solutions team for organising and for choosing Wildgoose to receive the generous donation.

Tom Jarratt – Director of Site Solutions (FM) Ltd – added: “We were more than happy to offer our services to Wildgoose Rural Training to help with their open day prep.

“We are well into the garden spring clean season and are pleased to now have our skip hire services available to homes locally and across the UK.”

Wildgoose Rural Training’s open day will take place on June 12 to both introduce people to their work and raise money for the centre.
